We just put in a 900 gallon pond. We are currently installing a waterfall. I'm not sure what to use for filter material. We are using a recycle bin for the waterfall. Any suggestions please.
Welcome to the forum. There are some pretty good threads on this subject. Some of the material people use are scrubbies, plastic fencing that you find at Home depot it is 3 feet tall you cut it in half there are instructions on the doc bio filter I believe. Some people use lava rock also.
I love weiner dogs my neighbor has 3 of them and they are funny as all get out .I laugh at them when 2 of them have dresses on and the other his liitle suit cute as buttons .

Do you want your waterfall to be the filter? how are feeding in the water from the bottom or from the top. If it is going to be your filter are you putting in a bottom drain in the recycle bin.
