This is the forum where you will discover what Rumsfeld would call the "unknown unknowns" of ponds. You are so wise for coming here before starting; some of us made many mistakes first, because it's impossible to appreciate some of the relevant considerations involved with ponds, fish, waterfalls, and the like before you mess it up for what seems like no good reason. Even better, the folks here who know a lot (and they are many) are as helpful as they are knowledgeable. Everyone here is at least pretty knowledgeable and very helpful as far as I can tell. It's a fine community.
