Hello,

My name is J, and I am the proud new owner of an inherited, already established garden pond...

I say new owner, but I have been here for 2 years now...

My pond is small at around the size of a snooker table and about 3 feet deep...

I love it and enjoy watching my fish every day so I want to learn the maintenance and upkeep side of things from experienced and friendly people, so I hope that I am in the right place...?

First question: What UV bulb should I go for to replace the non functioning one in my Oase Biotec 10 filter please?

Note, I mean wattage wise, unless there is something else that differs too?

Welcome and nice to have a pond to relax by .Nice inheritance also and hope you can post pics of your pond .I don't know much about uv's as I have not used one ,but there are a lot on here that do so hope they can help you .

Need moore info on the uv. Is it a Oase UV? wattage? pics?

The UV mounts on the side of the Filter and is called an Oase Biotec 25...

It's the wattage I'm confused about. I have around 2000 gallons and a surface area of about 2 metres by 4 metres...

Why are the bulbs different wattages? Which wattage is best, can you go too high with it?
