I hope they will thank me. I have a water test kit on the way and if all is well I shall be getting two fish. Can't wait. Pond has been running and I have been checking everything and it seems good. I put some plants in this week.

Be sure to leave a berm (raised edge) around the pond, or you run the risk of yard run-off getting into the pond. Run the liner over the berm.

Wow. I got my first fish. The woman at the local aquarium knew a lot of stuff about the different local tap waters and fish of course. But here they are. Not the best pic as they were double bagged

Pond is finished just landscaping left. The water will be in a two weeks tomorrow. Don't worry the fish are not in the pond. I took pics so I could see them outside while I filled their holding tub. They are small so checking their health would be

Would be impossible in the pond. They are only around 2" long. Also just started with two as I am new to all this. I plan on having four total but someone I spoke to (not from the store)seemed to think they would be lonely as a small group? Anyone know if this is true.?
