There certainly doesn't appear to be a over loaded pond with this skippy filter as i only see one fish. I Can't speak for skippy filters but i agree with lisa i too have a bog filter and i have a lot of fish . Water is crystal clear .

No, the pond isn't overloaded with fish, there are five Koi, seven gold fish, and two plecostomus .

Yes, actually, your pond is overstocked, if you have 5 koi in the equivalent of an 800gallon pond. Or, when you said 3000L did you mean 3000gallons? Wait, your “flag” on your profile is the USA flag…..but you live in France (Eifle Tower). So, is your pond is gallons or liters? I’m confused.

I have no idea where you got the idea that I am in France, I live and am located in southern Illinois, USA about 120 miles from St.Louis, Mo.
My pond is approximately 2000 Gallons and is filtered with a homemade Skippy filter made from a 100 Gallon RubberMade
stock tank.

I think we have two different situations going here @Mmathis - the OP has the 3000L pond. @Chucker's 50 chimed in to share the skippy filter idea.

Phew!
Well, I did say that I was confused…….o_O Too many crossed posts, maybe, and the OP’s got lost in the thread…..? The OP is the one who lives in France…..with USA flag in profile.

This is why i promote the bog as i do . I spent the morning ripping out plants that had over grown there areas and the water got so cloudy from all the dirt and silt. The first photo as you can see its hard to make out much in the water and up at the waterfall the waters only a foot deep to 24 inches by the log and to the right but its 4 feet to the lower side of the photo from the log . And in the second photo is taken 1 hour latter. And the third is just shy of 2 hours latter] BOG ALL THE WAY
