Time for a new filter, using junk leads to heartache.

The manufacture no longer trading. Thought I would try and run the filter without the uv after permanently isolating uv power supply. Unfortunately constant leak from top of filter as uv Quartz sleeve was clearly providing a seal.
Do I jam it up with sealant or buy a new filter?

If your unable to find the part, then why not simply drill out the offending area with a spade bit and retrofit a plumbing cap in its place? That way you'll be able to seal off the source of the leak, then install an in-line UV filter on your return line to your pond. No sense in pitching a functional filter until you determine whether or not you can make it watertight.

Take a beer in the garage with you, take a six-pack, tell your wife you're doing aquatic research. Works for me.
