I've been looking over the site the last few days as I try to decide on a filter for the pond in my backyard, but have just gotten more confused. The pond came with the house and is an irregular molded plastic pond that I'm estimating at 720 gallons. It currently has a little submersible box style filter that doesn't seem adequate. So, before I buy a new pump for that or a new filter system altogether, I thought I'd check out some DIY options. There are some fish in the pond, but nothing exotic and I don't plant to stock it with anything fancy. If anyone can suggest a few DIY options on the site that I should look into for this type pond I'd appreciate it. I have a 3 foot tall pre-cast waterfall that I plan to pump separately, but if an all-in-one option is available for that as well I'm open to it.

Thanks!

Justin
