My name is Eric, we are a little new to ponds but not fish. We have had aquariums for years and still have a 90 gal hex tank. Our pond is still in the final construction stages, but we do have basic filtration and fish. I think it is about 2200 gallons.

Welcome. To determine the gallons in your pond, multiply length x width x depth (in feet) and multiply by 7.5.

I had a little help with the rocks, I used out tractor to move them. Took some patients to get them where the wife and I wanted them.

Thanks dp that is how we came up with the gallons.

the wife is a self proclaimed rock hound herself. Any time we travel someplace new we have to pick up some rocks. Many years ago we drove to Colorado for a visit. She filled the back floor boards with rock. Good thing the kids were still little and in car seats, we would never get away with that now. :glassesy:

What kind of fish do you have? Your pond is about the same size as mine and I was born a lover of rocks. You have some nice ones around that pond of yours :cheerful:
