Been reading here for a couple of weeks and decided to join in. The spring ponding fever has arrived for me.

I put in a medium sized pre-form in 2005. Its a semi-raised and I rocked it myself. Decided three years ago to add another pond to it and used a stock tank from Tractor Farm Supply. I sunk it in the ground about a foot and now call it the upper pond. A small waterfall takes the water to the lower pond where I have 12 fancy tailed goldies.

I am reworking the plumbing and using a rain barrel as a skippy to replace my previous skippy from a Brute trash can. Works wonderfully but it is not as pretty as I'd like it to be since its visible.

So, I'll continue reading and learning and hope to jump in a little.

nice to be here.

I have some pics from a previous year and will have to dig them out. Right now the pond is blah. Its still rigged up with PVC arches and bird netting which kept the maple leaves out and protect the fish from hungry birds. Can't wait to get some new lilies for pond cover.
