Hello everyone,

crazy times and sad times for many... home isolation has got me into clearing a small wildlife pond we have.

Ou daughter one last year for Studying native wildlife here in East Anglia, England.

At the weekend whilst out in the garden I can across a frog or toad! Newt andin our little header pool another very small frog/toad.

Anyway, I can’t recall planting this!... I’m sure it’s a type of weed as it’s taking over the very small pond. Any ideas what it is as I can’t find anything online that looks remotely similar!

cheers

Ha! That's the first beer pond I've seen! I guessing that's beer coming out of that tap! ;)
Cheers!... unfortunately just a simple recirc pump from the main pond to the header pool... ive been installing beer pumps for over 25 years so thought why not! The pond is just outside my home pub in the garden too so kind of continues that theme!

You are welcome I have a app on my phone, take a picture of a flower and or leaf and it quite often identifies the plant. I took a picture of your picture and did a scan. And it popped up as brass buttons.
