Hi! I know this is slightly off topic but..I live in the great white north and have a somewhat shallow pond. I'm sure it's not deep enough to overwinter my hornwort as it freezes solid every winter. I am going to try to overwinter some in an aquarium. Question, will I require air stones or lights (sunny window?) on this aquarium? (No fish, just hornwort). I don't bother with fish as the herons quickly dine on them whenever I put them in the pond. Any help, greatly appreciated.
Brenda :)

Started your own thread for you.

I have hornwort in deep ponds, shallow ponds, etc. One of my ponds, on the deck no fish, has hornwort it sometimes freezes solid. The hornwort comes back every year.
