What a great photo! Gosh, they are big already.

Well, I confess that I had a mishap that occurred in my hatchery. We had a very big rainstorm a few weeks after my fry hatched, and the hatchery got caught under the lip of my capstones. So since it was unable to rise as the water level in the pond rose, the fry all got pushed up and were released into the pond. And, of course, nature did what nature does and took care of business.

So I learned something valuable in how to situate my hatchery next spring.

Sorry to hear that. I'm sure the bigger fish were happy for the snack. I know the few I saw in my pond from the first spawn are all gone. These were all hatched in that tank.

Mine were born around May 4th
Not a big hatch.. I crushed Legacy High growth food from day one for food
Have been adding Koi Clay once a week for a test to see if it real does any thing

I actually had a customer who just had to have 2 of mine yesterday. I told them I prefer to wait till they are 12 weeks, but they insisted and I gave in. They also bought a bunch of pond plants and will be back for more later.
It looks like they are about to spawn again, that makes 3 times in just over 2 months. I am going to keep an eye on them and get some video.
