I had removed some tubers dumped them on the ground a few years back. Also pulled a lot of bog plants dumped them on top of the tubers. Weeks later remembered someone asked for a few tubers. Dug them out, still alive, still with some growth. They survived since they were buried under the bog plants pulled and stayed wet. They are pretty tough plants.I am rebuilding my pond and it will probably take a week or so. What should I do with my lilies?
And if your in a hot climate keep them from heating upPut them in enough water to float the leaves, they can be shallow without issue. Just don't let the tuber or roots dry out.
I hear cooked lily tubers are quite yummyAnd if your in a hot climate keep them from heating up
