Our hole is dug. We covered it (and the dirt/clay pile) with tarps. But we've had horrible rains these past few days, and the tarp is under water. Going to pump that out, but afraid there's water under the tarp that will also need to be pumped out. Boy is that going to be a mess!
So just how DRY does the pond hole need to be before you can start laying underlayment & liner? At least after we can get the liner in, hoping any further rains won't cause quite the mess.
Will say, though, that even with the mess & mud where we trompped & drove around in the yard during the digging process, it looks like there was no water that got in the hole due to run-off. All is pretty level in the yard. YEA!
