looking to put 2 10" square baskets in my pond for shallow water plants. Just looking at the bulbs of the anemopsis californica and the iris they seem tiny. The ? is could I cluster them together to make a fuller basket. Any recommendations on plants I could use would be great. I like the arrowheads but they get huge and top heavy so they are out this year.

The iris put out rhizomes, that can fill a pot, since they are all small you could probably mix them. May have to divide later.
The net says the anemopsis grows 2-3 feet wide.

I like to experiment with plants also, try to stick with ones that will survive our winters.

ewaterlily.com I was told has some nice plants. I have not ordered from them though. Most of mine have come from craigs list, nursery end of season sales, friends.
