HOW MUCH MIRACLE GROW IN LETTUCE/ HYACINTH TANK?

Just pulled my yellowing plants to let them float in a Miracle Grow tub for a while. Wondering how much MG to use. Pkg. directions say 1/2 capful for 2 gal. of water, but that's for pouring on garden plants. I measured out 10 gals. of pond water into a tub. I added 1/2 capful -- too much, not enough?

Should be fine. My buddy was growing it in a 55 gallon drum last year. He went out every other monday and threw a miracle grow stick in the barrel.

So 1/2 capfull of the liquid Miracle Gro to 10 gal. of water will do the trick? Didn't know if that was too diluted, but didn't want to overdo it.
