I have just moved house and moved17 koi to my new pond and in doing so I noticed that one of them has what appears to be a wart or boil. (See photos) I have kept it in isolation (very topical) until air can find out what it is, whether it is s threat to the other koi and how to treat it. Can anyone help please?

Is the fish inside a plastic bag? I believe it needs some room to move around and an aerator stone running to provide O2.

Do any to the other fish have "warts"? It almost looks like koi pox, but it's difficult to see well in the picture. If it is koi pox, it's viral.

Thank you for your reply. The koi is in a holding tank until I know what to do with it. Having read up on the internet it does appear to be koi pox but none of the other fish have any visible signs and it appears to be untreatable. Presumably if is viral all the other koi are already infected but resistant?
Do I then put this koi back in the pond with the others and just hope that things will be OK?

Koi pox will look like someone dripped white candle wax onto the fish... regardless of it's color. A tumor/growth will be pushing/growing up through the scales and retain some of the skin pigment color.
