I am very nearly finished with building my pond, but need to order the pond liner. I just noticed upon ordering that my pond liner weights just under 1,000 lbs. I will pay for the truck driver use have liftgate service, so at least they'll get the liner off the truck, but how do I get it into the backyard and into the center of the pond to be unfolded? Any suggestions?

Could you rent a small bob cat?
Depending how far it is A Minimum of 6 healthy men. It's dead weight, at almost 1000 I would not try with less. as mine was 780 and it got placed without issue but it was not a walk in the park either.
That or if it’s rolled, buy some schedule 40 pipe 4’-5’ sections and roll it along. Just make sure to have at least 5-6 pieces and you’ll need someone to move one from the back to the front as you push it along. I have moved up to 2000lbs stones this way.
