How to move 17 large adult Koi long distance - 10 hr trip

Looking for advice on how to move 17 Adult large Koi from NC to MD - 10 hr trip? Need advice, kind of containers, oxygen, water temp, etc. to move them. Worried about what kind of containers to use and how they will handle the movement of the vehicle (water sloshing around). I have had these Koi for over 15 years and want to transport them safely to their new pond.

Check our Koiphen.com, it's a site devoted strictly to koi. I've never done it, but have read about koi in oxygenated bags, placed in coolers and boxes traveling to koi shows etc.

All I know about moving fish is to not feed them for xx time before you do the move.
