I am in the process of a pond rebuild and will start to tear down the stream today. I have several marginal plants that I want to save. What is the best way to store the marginal plants? They include strawberry and cream, blue rush, forget me not and water wisteria. I hope to have them back in a stream by the end of April.

I used 15 gallon buckets last year when I renovated the pond. Glad I did as my Irises came back strong after I placed them in the bog.

The pond makers told me to toss them away as the few they put in the margins will grow back. I kept mine in the buckets outside for 1 month, feeding them pond water every now and then. So glad I did not listen and kept them.
