My spider lily floats in the pond in a foam ring. It is in a pot with holes the bottom. The roots hanging out are 2 feet long.

In the pot there is one big plant and now two smaller plants. I feel like I need to split them up but need some help.

Is this the right time of year to take them out of pot and split them?

Should I put the new small ones in the bog?

Any ideas greatly appreciated. Thanks!

per the net: they are saying it is a zone 10 or 11 plant

The best time to divide your spider lily plant is six to eight weeks after it has flowered. Your lilies need one to two years between divisions to fully regenerate the outer portions of the bulb used in propagating the plant.
