I finally saw my pleco!

Iv been battling green water as some of you may know from my other posts, but this morning I walked outside to see crystal clear water (my barrage of UV lights and home-made filter system is working) I anxiously looked around my goldfish are happy but Iv been dying to see my pleco since I put him in months ago. Finally today after work I came home and saw him at the bottom and my oh my how he has grown. Hes now probably about 8 inches long as he was 3-4 inches if that when I got him. I wasnt even sure if he was still alive but hes doing excellent! My wife finally got to see him she didnt get to see him when I introduced him in....

Its made me very happy to have crystal clear water I can finally enjoy my lil fishies seeing as I work my butt off to keep them happy!

Isnt it a great feeling when things finally start to come together?

It makes me feel like my wife saying im crazy for laying in the dirt digging for hours and coming in black and getting shoed straight into the shower worth it. Its nice being able to come home from work and stand around my pond and watch my fish something about it is just so peaceful. Doesnt matter how stressful your day is always calms me down to watch the lil buggers swim around and come up to the side of the pond when they see me.

Just don't destroy so much of the algae that your pleco starves. They need a LOT of food! And I hope your water doesn't go below 60 degrees in the Winter?
