Preferably shirtless! Been digging out plants from my other gardens to plant around pond and I am beat! Thunderstorms are threatening so maybe I'll get a good drenching when I go back out. Or maybe I should go for a swim with my fishies.

Anyone else pooped out from working on their ponds?

Have not been doing much too darn hot, not sure my honey would let me have a pond boy around, sure sounds like a good idea though.

Decided to clean my filter yesterday and one thing led to another, changing the rocks all around in the waterfall which took forever in the hot sun (well hot for here anyways) and various other little jobs in between that came up. Was so hard just getting in the pond as I have it set up like Fort Knox so Mr Heron can't get in. Thought I was gonna fall in and then I couldn't get out. Fish were sucking on my feet and legs and liner was slippery as all get out. Started in the morning and didn't get outta the pond till 3pm. My back, legs, arms, hands hurt and had a headache from the sunshine I guess........not used to that bright round thing shining up there ya know

I hear ya, J.W.! Moving rocks is the worst for me, especially since I developed frozen shoulder in my left shoulder in late Jan. From moving rocks, no less! ugh. I'm leaving the heavy lifting to my DH and son.

I finally called it quits around 4. Took a shower and almost feel brand new. Almost.

Haha, digginponds! But I'm skeered you're going to hurt yourself carrying rocks that way. And you'd need a lot of sunscreen if you came to So.Cal. Still, you must be an o.k. guy since you're from IL and I'm a Cubs fan.

I have been out working on the pond and the yarden all day in and out .Cool off times and a drink .I was setting up some new led lights and planted 2 more sweet olives and was pulling weeds and trying to set up a tarp over the preformed pond I put in by the back deck to put plants in .I don't know why I own a house is it because I'm crazy and a sucker for punishment or just crazy and stupid . Retirement should be easier

You will never find anyone that works as hard on your own property as yourself no matter what you pay remember that .
