I used to have a few fishes in the lotus tub and the owl would have the best time watching and chasing them. Never saw her catch one though. But yesterday she perched on the side of the tub and watched and watched in there. I laughed thinking what a dork she was since the fish haven't been in there for a year or more. After she left I walked over to see how the lotus bud was coming along and found 3 of the cutest little shubbies in there! NO idea how they ended up in there, eggs must have migrated through the 3/4" line  Must be spawning happening somewhere!

Heck i find baby koi in the bog. They get sucked into the line. Past the skimmer baskets past the impeller of the pump and up to the centipede and snorkel. Where i find them not a chance of catching them and there's zero light for them
