I have a 2000 gallon koi pond. I just noticed two white spots on one of my fancytail goldfish. One spot if towards the end of the tail on the Orange part. The other is on it's side. With high temps these days in SC, is it possible this could be ich?

Hold fire on the ich treatment for the moment could we please have a closeup of your fish to see these whitespots before making any diagnoses .
I've a feeling that the spot on the goldfishes tail is nothing more than a dint caused by the fish hitting its tail , they normally work their way out after a few weeks .
The spot on your side however I find most interesting of the two this may well be a damaged scale
