The pond is now complete. I've added a few plants to get it going. More will be added in the coming weeks. All plants came from my existing pond. I like the fountain for now but still intend to do a bubbling rock, just don't have the tools to do it yet.

Fish will be added in a week or two once after these crazy cold fronts let up.

Overall I am very happy with the project and am excited to have a new ecosystem to experiment with and enjoy.

The first few fish were added to the pond yesterday evening. I put 5 platties and a molly in there for now. I plan on adding sword tails once the fish shop down the street gets some better stock in. The pond is doing very very well. Ill get some pictures up this evening if I remember.

Sorry for the delayed promised pictures. Pond is doing fantastic. Lillies are growing in and I've lost no fish. In fact I discovered yesterday that some of the water that I transferred from my large pond must have held a goldfish fry in it. As I now have a small fry swimming around. My wife also found a miniature windmill to go with the pond.

Uh oh. Looking at all the pictures of the progress and then seeing the gorgeous finished product has me itching to do another pond!!!!!!! This turned out SO pretty!
