We have nets mostly to prevent leaves from falling in. But this year, the nets may need to stay in place! He is staying on the ground behind the birdbath. He is HUGE! Looked like a pterodactyl when he flew off! I know he would empty the ponds of fish -- but he is beautiful!
I'm glad my neighbor and I still have our pond nets on!

One still comes around my pond and I don't mind now since I have my net as he can't get in at all! I love watching him stalk around the whole pond. If he sees me looking at him he is gone in a flash.
