if you have a skimmer with media and a biofalls with media as well to catch stuff? Right now that's my setup (Pond water -> skimmer -> pump -> waterfall -> pond) Will this be enough or should I invest in a pressure filter/diy filter? My pond is about 12x14 30in at the deepest area.

Two choices run it for a while see how it does or make a filter and add it. It appears the pressure filters do not work that well from what I read on this forum, I have never used one myself.

You have a skimmer and you have a bio falls so that should work .Ditto on the pressure filters the smell like sewers when you open them up even if you back flush them 2 times a day .They cost a lot and work less
