Its the pond life for me....

You know your pond boots might be muddy when.....

So I'm sitting pondside sorting through a delayed shipment of trapdoor snails, and I look up and see this little guy chilling out on a pad.

And a snap of our newest plant addition, only moments later I found a SNAKE hanging out in the bottom of the plant! I scooped it out, but it was too squirmy to sit still for photographs!

my koi just sucked the poor trapdoor snails right out of their shells they also kill frogs and suck the insides out and I get the joy of netting out the outside part of the frog

@sissy would they still do that if you fed them daily?

yeh but water quality would go down and they have always killed frogs .I just don't have time for the pond and the heat is not helping

Koi unfortunately are nibblers if they have nothing to nibble constantly then they will suffer.
