Hello pond enthusiasts! I bought this Japanese iris as a margin plant for my pond. At the aquarium store where I bought it, all they told me was to keep it in the pond? I read online that it should be planted in soil? Anyone with any knowledge of these plants? Suggestions would be much appreciated

The iris can be planted in soil or in the gravel of a bog. If you plan on putting it directly in the pond, make sure the tuber is just at the waterline.
