Hi all,
ive got problems with my jebao cf-20, I inherited my wonderful fish pond with the house, along with loads of fish.
‘The filter tripped my garage electrics so we turned it off throughout the winter, now I’m trying to find out what the problem is.
the UV bulb looks like it has blown so I’ve ordered a replacement, the pump in the pond still works great, but when the filter is on it trips out the electrics.
can a faulty or blown bulb cause it to trip the rcb?
Assuming not, then I have no clue what is wrong with it, the pump operates fine on its own, so its Definitely the filter, doesn’t seem to be any moisture in the unit and I’ve cleaned all the filters etc.ive rewired All the electrics to get this working, thinking it may be a problem with the cable going to outside switch box, I’m running the filter off a plug/rcb and outdoor socket now, I’ve pretty much narrowed it down to the filter itself
is it worth buying a replacement ballast?
thanks
