Matthew and Aaron (my nephews) are over at the house and while we were out riding the ATV I took them to the hatchling/quarantine room to look at the turtles so they could pick out the hatchlings they wanted to get for helping me work. Matt picked his out pretty quickly because he likes my map turtle Atlas so naturally he wanted the map turtle hatchling but Aaron who is the youngest (5 y.o) asked me if I could keep his hatchling in it's shell till we were done working so he could see it hatch LOL so I guess I will have to hope a clutch just happens to be hatching on the day we are done working. :D I think it would nearly impossible to not be happy when they come around no matter how bad a day you are having. Wouldn't it be nice if we adults could somehow get back some of that energy we had when we were children ? not to mention the positive outlook on things :) Although I was not quite as well "behaved" as they are when I was their age lol.
