My Koi is about 22yrs old, and 27" long. When she is idle, she tends to float slightly head down. Buoyant center is just behind the upper dorsal fin. I don't know how to help her. My pond has been established since 2001. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It’s really difficult to say — not enough information. She could just be showing signs of age.
Do you have other fish? How big is your pond? Do you test your water?

Thank you for your response. My pond is approx. 4,000 gallons. I have a mix of Koi, and goldfish. the other koi (same age) seems to bee doing fine, and all of the goldfish (including the new babies) are as well. I have noticed this over the last month. She is no worse, but not improving either. As far as testing the water, I have not done that lately. However, each time I test, levels are always normal. These pictures are from a few years ago.
