koi or goldfish fry?

I've got four foot-long koi and three 7-inch goldfish. I have tiny fry that I thought might be a re-invasion of Gambusia. But, no, they are developing differently. Can only be from koi or goldfish. Sorry if this is a naive question, but how can you tell koi and goldfish fry apart?

Koi have whiskers by their mouth, goldfish do not. They may not be easily seen until they grow a little.
