Would anyone have a clue as to what might be the probem with our Koi?
The white patch on her back has been growing the past couple of week and now the back of the dorsal fin looks damaged. Also, the orange coloring on her back just started looking dull, and from time to time she will hang head down.
The other 6 fish are doing just fine.

I see fungus for certain, and the spot behind the dorsal is definitely a serious sore. Going to have to get a scraping to identify. Are there any koi clubs, vets, water gardening clubs in your area, Hopefully someone that knows how to use a microscope. That fish needs to be isolated for certain, If everyone else looks ok right now maybe you'll get it isolated to the one fish but for certain the fungus can spread to others, First problem though that needs to be address is the sore, as this is what is actually causing the fungus attack and fungus can be treated. but you don't really want to treat the whole pond, It's very costly, can wreck havoc with your bio filtration, and may or may not be effective with only one treatment, may take two or three tries once the correct medication for the ailment is figured out.
