The first and third are pretty cool I especially like the floating deterents the eye aand the Pyramid .
However I'm not so sure about the interlocking plastic nets , you've not seen my lot feed the two largest koi would break the net up as soon as the food went in .

Interesting timing on this post. I had not one but TWO green herons at my pond yesterday. I checked out the Amazon products, the reviews aren't that great. Guess I'll stick with one thing we know works - the net!

The green heron is so small. Most of my fish are so much bigger than he is no, I suppose the worry would be he would spare one, even if he can't eat it. I think what is attracting them to the pond are all the small red platys I have in there, perfect bite size for the green heron.

The first one the Velda Heron Stop reflector looks nothing more than a silver Christmas Tree ornament (ball) with a few eye looking stickers around it. Look at the top of the ball. It looks exactly like a Christmas tree ornament where you would attach the hook to place on the tree. They want $37 plus $8 shipping for that. I can make that for about $2 with an ornament and a paint pen or if i wanted to Id have a guy that makes decals make the eyes and it would cost me only a few bucks more. Some nerve charging that price...

Nice thing about the green heron, it tends to only fish from the shore. I never saw it go into the pond like the gdh does
