Let’s talk about aerators and fountains

Recently bought the Oase 1/4 HP Floating Fountain Kit w/ Led Lights and will be installing it this weekend. Any suggestions or tips on installation?
What are some of you running for aeration?

I don't have a fountain as I found even a spitter will clutter the surface with so many ripples I can's see the fish as well! Aeration is from two waterfalls and one aerator pump, and the water pouring from my bog back to the pond + a small river waterfall/drop.

Since it floats, I'd be worried it will float over to the shore and water might escape.
To prevent this, I would tie a string or fishing line to two opposite sides with the other ends tied to something on opposite shores.

The fountain did came with mooring lines and 3 stakes to anchor it by the shoreline. I didn’t use it though but I tied it to a cinder block as an anchor. I love it.
