lily/lotus seeds?

Any grown lillies and lotuses from seeds? Ebay has a ton but I'm weary about ordering them, is it better to just buy the tubers for 6 times more?

Anything online is a crap shoot. If you can get tubers locally, that to me is the best bet.

You can start lotus seeds, they can be taken from the lotus heads that florists use in arrangements.

I have done the same thing with lotus seeds. My only problem is that I started them too early in the winter and couldn't make room for them indoors as they grew.
