Hi, just joined and would like some info for limited space. I am thinking something above ground container like. I`ve seen stock water tanks in different sizes. What type of pump/filter for this? I`m thinking plants and maybe some goldfish and a painted turtle. Thanks for the help!!!

Some people have good luck w/ mixing turtles and fish. They just have to make sure they keep the turtle's well fed and maybe start out w/ small turtles and bigger fish

I think some on here have turtles but I don't. They say you need plenty of filter as turtles are really messy and you prolly already know that cuz you have one.
If you are gonna have fish I think I would stick w/ goldfish. They are cheaper if you just buy the feeder ones at the pet stores or Wal-mart.
That way you will find out what your little turtle is going to do w/o too much expense.............well I guess at the fishes expense of course

Try to get as large a stock tank as you can, the larger they are the easier it is to take care of. You can check the diy section for ideas on filters you can build that will work well for you.

Welcome. Build yourself a bio-filter. There are some very good designs in the DIY section of various sizes. As far as a pump you want to turn the water volume over at least 1x per hour. More is better here.
