How do you do the corners of a raised pond? We are getting ready to put the top board on and pin everything in place, but the corners have me a little stumped on the best way to do it.
The less layers of liner, the better for a nice flat top board. So what's the best way to "fold" the corners for a nice flat top board at the corners?

Make deep folds to each side of the corner, The more you can tuck under the less folds/wrinkles will be in each corner. I try to make one fold per side of each corner if possible, like you said, the less fold you have over lapping the flatter the top board will sit.

Take a sheet and drape it over something with a corner and play with folds, easier than refolding the liner over and over. It might help you see the best way to fold it.

Great idea, never thought of that!

Thanks, my liner was a pita to fold, so that is what I did, sure helped. I did not have true corners, but it help me see the way out of the fold mess.

This is what I ended up doing.
Building steps for the ducks to get in the pond now. Hopefully the liner for the filter box shows up today and we can work on that this evening.

The angles at the outter edge are a little off in levelness due to the folds at the corners, but I wasn't going for perfect, close works for me.
I figured I could always hide them later with something if it really bothered the ducks LOLOL

Gotta have pix of the ducks first entrance to the pond and swimming around. I remember my ducks reaction to the big container I put out for them the first time. I love the way they darted, dove underwater and went nuts w/ happiness over that little bit of water
