I was looking for baby trapdoor snails by flipping over rocks and the goldfish went crazy eating what is under them. The fish didn't even care that I was touching their tails and petting them. Then I saw very small red work looking things on the bottom of the rocks.
Is that what the fish are after? Is this a good thing? Should I panic?

Anytime I move anything in the pond the fish follow me around, if I am in wading, that one time I can almost pick them up by hand. They inhale exposed lil critters.
