Just going to share this.... I know all you veteran ponders know this and I I knew it too..... But I simply forgot..... Last weekend I was doing some changes to my plumbing on my pump and filter so I turned my pump off, but what I didn't do was turn off my UV light and when everything drained down the bulb got too hot and burned out, so today I rewired my UV light so that I have a on/off switch to control the light But also if the pump is not on the light is off..... $45 mistake but live and learn

my son put switch's inside my bedroom closet for everything at my pond so for me it is easy .But hope I never forget when I work on the pond .If I have to pull a plug when I am down by the pond I have each cord marked .After awhile they all look the same
