Looking for lotus seeds

I’d like to try my hand at growing lotus from seeds, or tubers. But the prices on tubers is way more than I’m willing to spend when they may not work out. Does anyone know where I can get seeds? I’ve seen them on websites , but I’m not big on buying online, and have no guarantee that they’ll be legit. I’d prefer to get some from either a reputable seller or someone on here, maybe one of y’all can recommend or sell me seeds from your plants?

Let me look in my lotus tub, I saw a bunch floating around. If I can find them I will mail you some.

There are a lot of lotus seed sellers on ebay. Most are in China so it will take a long time to get to you by mail, but they're dirt cheap if I remember correctly.

I have ordered seeds online as well as buying dried pods from craft stores. Some have sprouted but none have grown enough to survive wintr. I harvested 10 seeds from my flowers last year. I had 9 doing well and then they rotted.
