Hi I have a koi pond of about 4000 gallon and I am looking for help finding a new pond filter. My pond been running for about 2 years now with a filter of about 1500 gallon an hour and a pool filter. However my pool filter died and I am now looking for a real pond filter. My pond been green for a while now but I can still see fish in the water if not too deep . So I am looking for a pond filter that will be strong enough for my pond and help remove some of that algea. As I am from Canada please suggest one i can buy on amazon.ca or a trustworthy website from Canada.

Edit: I'm sorry when I say filter I mean pump. However if there's a good enough filter for cheaper than pump then why not?

u mean the make of a pump? im sure others can help more on brand but laguna is good , i would recommend buying 2 medium sized pumps , ur pond is big ad it should not be dependent on only one pump , if one dies then u always have spare or u can turn one off at night
what size of fish u have and how many?
recommended is 4000 but buy atleast 3000gph

Just remember to get a pump to adequately handle the size of your pond. You are currently undersized with your 1500 gallon pump. How many fish are in your pond? What kind of filtration do you have planned? A pool filter is never a good idea on a pond because you are handling more organic material - a pool filter will clog too easily.
