I have actually gotten my lotus seeds this far. How would I put them in the pond and how deep can they go?

I think what's being asked is do you know lotus are like lilies and can be very problematic trying to pull them out of a pond where they were not contained in a pot.

You definitely want them contained to a pot. Moving them is a bit treacherous as they are fragile. Kudos to you for your patience getting them to grow from seed - not an easy task I hear!

Thanks for all of y'all's replies and help!! I learned my lesson with water lilies taking over. I divided them up with friends and put the rest in a pot with rocks. But somehow they disappeared and now I don't have any. 🥹

I'm trying to do so right now. Starting with the paper towel and a flat container with just enough water to keep it wet

I'll never let life get to that point. Or will I, I have always been artistic. Thinking of picking up Painting.

Um, sitting here not sure how to even respond to that.

Do I look like I have done time?

No, I am not one to turn a blind eye.

I love Nature and Dirt way way to much to trade it for concrete walls.

Hell I'm not even into raised concrete ponds.

So I'm a bit puzzled where that came from .

Are you sure you want them in the pond?
I was going to say the same thing . They do take over . I had them in my old lily pond and divided them up when I put in the preformed pond that I had sitting in my shed . Geeze I had mine in pots and the roots grew right thruogh the pot , breaking it and so did the lilies
