Lotus seedling sprouted.

So this is a genre of ponding that I am totally unfamiliar with so any advice to get these seedlings to the next stage of their lives is welcomed....

I did them and after the leaf came above the water I used a fertilizer spike that I broke into tiny pieces and would put just 1 tiny piece in .Water has to be changed every day or so .

I kept mine in a large container and kept changing the water till I got a couple of leaves and then transfered to a stock tank with kitty litter. They rooted within a couple of weeks and then the deer ate them!

That is one plant the deer have so far ignored. They eat everything else!
