My pond and plants are thriving...I love it. What a great place to sit and relax and enjoy a good book. Still a work in progress....but I enjoy every minute of it. Still fighting some "spider mites" and a "garter snake" but that's ok.

Your plants sure are thriving and I can sure see why you'd hang out by the pond. It's really nice. Love that boat

Thanks everyone....I "rescued" my hyacinth plants from a local canal. Found out later that they are illegal here, but I didn't bring them in, just moved them within the same area/state. I really like the Canna Lilies. They are mostly in shade. And YES....it was hard digging, used my Dad's Roto-Tiller which helped tremendously, lots of roots. So....I made sure I lined the pond heavily with a protective covering before adding my actual pond liner. Not looking forward to "Fall"...I'm going to have a problem with the leaves....I didn't think about that when building it back in the "spring". :frown:
