Low light plants

water lilies really???i would love to get some...how low light are they located it cause my pond is covered by an awning

I don't pay attention to the names of the lilies, I just buy whatever colors I like. They all are the Hardy though.

I never used Parrots Feather, but I heard of folks using it in shady areas. It is cheap enough to try. I also had some luck with Water Hyacinths.

Around the perimeter of the pond, I have aucubas. They also grow well inside. I do not know if they will survive in the pond. You'll have to do some research. You can easily research shade loving plant varieties for your climate on the web.

are yours in a very shallow area of your pond??

My Aucubs are around the outside perimeter of the pond. Like I mentioned earlier, in the pond I have Sweet Grass, Canna, Lilies, Lizards Tail and Anacharis. They have all done well.

i have anacharis, water hycanth and water lettuce and they have done well...how well do you think bog lillys and yellow flag iris will do
