Maximum pond clarity

Has anyone ever tried adding a pool cartridge or diatomaceous earth filter after their bead filter to really polish the water?

To directly answer, never in a pond but yes in an aquarium.

You may want to look into a Rotating Drum Filter that can filter down to 70 microns.
Filterting down to that small of particle size manually would be constant work.
A Rotating Drum Filter will flush itself automatically.

It's a big pond for swimming in. No fish.

Yes the pond is already really clear. Looking for ideas on how to take it further, like removing the fine sediment you'd see when the lights are on in the pond at night.

Dedicated Koi Pond - all fish and water, no plants, rocks or gravel.

There is also a DFP .It is a dedicated fish pond ,not just koi (DKP).No plants ,no rocks just fish

There is also a DAP. It’s a dedicated algae pond, that’s what I have....
