Has anyone used Galvanized metal to form their pond and then put in a liner. I have a line on 2 used grain silos that are about 8' diameter and was thinking that the sides might work well for form work on a pond. They will come apart in sections and might even be able to bolt back together to form a kidney shaped pond. Place a cut plastic pipe on the top edge to protect the liner.
The round should work well even above grade or partly above due to the shape.
